In Loving Memory

William Kay Carmichael 81, (September 21, 1938) passed away in the comfort of his home August 4, 2020. He was a resident of Vero Beach since 1987, coming from Parkersburg, WV. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence William Carmichael and his mother, Helen Harris. 2 sisters Joy Carmichael and Jean Gainer. He is survived by his brother Clyde Maynard Carmichael. His 3 sons and daughter Kenneth Carmichael (Tammi), Donald Carmichael (Jeannie), William Carmichael, Cheyenne Luyao (Ivan). 4 grandchildren Lisa Keeler (Nick), Grayson Carmichael, Filemon Luyao, and Bailey Luyao. As well as numerous nieces and nephews. Our family would like to thank VNA Hospice.

Prayers to the family and Cindy’s family too … I always had a good time around Bill, was hoping that I’d make it back down there .With his
illness the way it was , He’s in such a better place . I I hope that you will accept my most sincere sympathy and condolence. I truly hope that your memories of the happier moments will help ease the pain.
I know Ill always remember him. God bless you all .

Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
