Vicki Lillie Shaw passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025, unexpectedly in Port St. Lucie, Florida, at the age of 74. She had fought a courageous battle with lung cancer for almost two years but succumbed to complications of her illness.
Vicki was born on Tuesday, November 7, 1950, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late Kenneth A. and Virginia M. (Younkins) Shaw.
In addition to her parents, Vicki was preceded in death by an infant sister, Baby Erma Jean in 1941; brother, Kenneth “Eli” Leroy in 2021; brother-in-law, Jack Miller in 2008 and grandson, Malachi Jabari Woodson in 2024.
Vicki is survived by her daughters, Amy married to retired Chief Master Sergeant Mark Cappiello; Gina married to Julian Chevannes; and Kati married to Anthony Woodson; grandchildren, Tyler, Alyssa, and Aubrey Cappiello, and Mason Woodson; siblings, Reta Miller, Audrey married to Thomas “Buck” Morris, and Bonnie Shaw; nieces, Leslie married to Scott MacCullough, and Andrea married to John Kubas; and great nephew, Brady Kubas; and many cousins.
Vicki was a wonderful mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend to all. She served in the United States Air Force and Air Force National Guard. She embodied the Air Force core values: Integrity, Service before self, and Excellence in all we do, both in her professional life as well in her personal life. Throughout her life, Vicki saw the good in everyone and helped all those around her. She raised her daughters with unconditional love and the importance of a good work ethic. Her grandchildren brought her much joy. Vicki had a strong passion for her faith in Jesus Christ. She also enjoyed outside work and watching football. Per her request, there will be no viewing or services.

I was the privilege to be Vickie’s neighbor and friend for the last 4 years and she was kind to me and my granddaughters, I miss to see her working in her garden, I cross the street to talk to her,she had lost of stuff in her yard and said, Lupe do you want this pot and the squirrel
And these flamingos ?
They are in my yard and reminded me of her. She’ll be forever in my heart ❤️
