Roger James Frew

September 27, 1964

Roger James Frew, a top-level security engineer and a loving cat dad, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2024. Born on September 27, 1964, Roger lived a life marked by dedication, love, and a deep connection with his family and furry friends.

Roger was preceded in death by his father, Roger S. Frew, his mother, Roberta F. Neubert, and his sister, Robin L. Frew. He is survived by his beloved sister, Emma B. Johnson, her husband, David N. Johnson, and his cherished niece and nephew, KatieLynn A. Johnson and Landon J. Johnson. Roger also leaves behind his two adored cats, Birdie and Skittles, who brought him endless joy and companionship.

Roger’s heart was as large as his family, and his love for them knew no bounds. As the 24th grandchild in the Frew family, Roger was surrounded by a vast and loving network of relatives. He had a special knack for making everyone feel cherished, and his genuine warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew him.

Professionally, Roger was a top-level security engineer, known for his expertise and dedication. But it was his role as a loving family member and devoted cat dad that truly defined him. His home was a place of love, laughter, and the purrs of his beloved cats.

Although there will be no funeral or memorial service, as per Roger’s wishes, the memories of his loving heart and the joy he brought into the lives of his family and friends will be cherished forever.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to a local animal shelter or a charity of your choice, in honor of Roger’s love for his cats and all animals.

Rest in peace, Roger. Your loving heart and beautiful spirit will remain with us always.

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
