Robert Paul Elliott

August 11, 1953 ~ July 17, 2024

Robert Paul Elliott, age 70, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. Although his passing is shocking and heartbreaking, take solace in the fact that Paul worked hard, played hard, lived a big life on his terms and brought comfort and joy to those who were a part of it.

With a big pot of something delicious on the stove and a bottle of something a bit stronger than water, Paul could disarm and charm you and have you feeling like you have known him for a lifetime. He was a welcoming and generous man who could tell a good story and didn’t mind listening to someone recall a funny story about him. Caring and providing for those who were important to him, both family and friends, was Paul’s calling and he embraced it wholeheartedly.

Paul was born in Ballards Valley, Jamaica to parents Etta-Rose and Sidney Elliott on August 11, 1953. Paul was one of 10 children and grew up in a loving home.

Paul enjoyed the beauty of Jamaica but travelled frequently to the US, eventually making it a second home. He embraced the freedom of being an entrepreneur and started many successful businesses including, restauranteur, realtor and car salesmen.

Preceding Paul in death were his parents: Etta-Rose and Sidney and siblings: Claude and Jervis.

Leaving to cherish his memory: partner: Violet (Olive); siblings: Orlyn, George, Collin, Osborne, Ronald, Nathalie, Patrice, and Angilla; children: Kevin, Robin, Ryan, and Allison; ex-wife: Judith, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and many, many friends.

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
