Robert L. Sigmon, age 90, of Vero Beach, FL, passed away on April 1, 2025 at Renaissance Senior Living in Vero Beach.

He was born in Newton, NC on August 27, 1934 to George and Thelma Sigmon.  He had been a resident of Vero Beach for 33 years coming from Melbourne, FL where he had been a resident for 22 years.  Robert graduated from Balls Creek High school in Newton, NC.  He was married to Linda King Sigmon who preceded him in death.

Robert “Bob” was self-employed in furniture upholstery all of his life.  He enjoyed his trade as much as a hobby, continuing on into retirement covering furniture for family and friends.  Bob was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer in his younger years.  He enjoyed travel and watching all types of sports in later years.  Bob always had a funny story to tell and will be missed by all.

He is survived by a daughter Sharon Laney; son-in-law Floyd Laney; grandchildren Kerri Sigmon; Kyle Sigmon; Margaret Laney; and Ryan Laney; and three great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by sons Randy Sigmon; and Dennis Sigmon; parents George and Thelma Sigmon.

Inurnment will take place at a later date at Florida Memorial Gardens in Brevard County.
