I already miss you my brother. This tragic, unexpected event has changed me forever. You have always protected your little sister. From fighting off high school boys who you didn’t think were good enough for me to standing up to a pack of crazy bullies at Playland Park in my honor. When you loved you loved hard. When you were hurt you hurt hard. You were a strong man although you were extremely sensitive and took things to heart. You were so creative, from your writing of songs to your cooking. And don’t get me started on your pizza! Colony Pizza our favorite back in Connecticut. What I will miss most are your weekly updates and pictures of your chef style dishes, your garden of fig trees, tomatoes, zucchini and more, and your 3 kitties ~ Pockets, Anabel and KC Bear. You always were a hard worker and put your artistic talents into everything you did. You had a love of your motorcycles too. Unfortunately, and although all geared up that fateful day, that love took your life. A quick trip to get garlic powder for your Sunday sauce. I hope at least one person learns from your story that life is short you never know when that time you see or speak to someone may be the last here on earth. Be kind to one another. Be there. Share your love because that really is what we are here for ❤️ I will see you again my beloved brother.

My deepest condolences to the family. Rick was a great friend and neighbor. Every time I called him, he’d always answer the phone saying yes dear. He was always helpful if I ever needed a hand with anything. We were garden buddies, we talked about growing tomatoes. In fact, the tomato tree I have was a San Marzano, that he started for me. He will be truly missed. Many blessing to the family in your time of grief.

My heart goes out to you for the loss of your loved one, Ricky. I remember Sherry how we would always mess with him and drive him nuts when we were kids, but deep down I know he loved it!! Sending love, thoughts, and prayers to the family during this difficult time. Thinking of you. xoxoxo

Over the many years of working with Ricky, I came to know him as the type of guy who would always take the time to help and listen to anyone. Ricky wasn’t afraid to speak his mind. He was genuine. He was kind and generous to me and I will miss him. To all his friends and family, I am very sorry for your sudden loss of Ricky.

I am at a loss for words over Ricky’s passing. In the years I worked with him I found his passion for life and work second to none. He was always there for anyone that needed help without questioning. I will always remember him and his willingness to speak up when needed and take the extra step to achieve our goals and success. He will be truly missed by us all

One of my fondest memories with you was lighting fire crackers on 4th of July.
You offered to teach me how to drive a stick shift. I was too scared I would ruin your truck.
Playing Monopoly for hours and hours.
I loved when you came to California and we went with the church youth group to Raging Waters. The bus broke down and you jumped in to offer your help. I hope you experienced the love of Christ on that trip.
So many memories from our childhood. We didn’t really know each other as adults. The last time I saw you was in New York in 2001. You showed me pictures of your beautiful girls.
I will miss you my cousin.
