So sad to hear of Michael’s passing!! He was always ready with a smile and a genuine warm greeting when J came into the salon. I was always amazed how he could remember my name and everyone that came through the door….quick to offer help when I needed advice for alternative hair color when I ‘sprouted’ an allergy and ready with expert professional advice with a human quality and humor to spare that I so admired!! It has been a good life .. a courageous battle was fought and now I wish you RIP, dear Michael!!!

Dear Terry, Lauren, and Craig,
I am heart-broken to learn of Michael’s passing. I’m so sorry for your loss. I can still remember my first meeting with Michael over 20 years ago. He was a great listener who cut my hair just like I wanted. And I saw him ever since, at 3 different salons, until he retired – minus when he was ill. Michael had a joy of life that was infectious – he loved spending time with his family; listening to music and attending live concerts; and he loved his job. His infectious smile as he shared funny stories made the time fly by every appointment. I enjoyed listening to the bickering among the staff especially when it was in reference to the temperature inside the salon: to cold vs to hot. The world lost an incredible human whose soul touched a lot of lives. I hope you all find comfort in our Michael stories. Wishing him peace with no more pain and suffering.

To Terry, Lauren, Craig, and your entire family…I am so sorry that Michael left us way too soon. For nearly 30 years, his warm personality and infectious laugh made my trips to the salon so much fun. His teams always reflected the wonderful culture he created. I missed seeing Michael after he had left for Florida full time. A year ago, however, my wife and I were at the West Palm Airport, returning from time we had spent with close friends in Jupiter. Having been at the airport for many hours due to flight delays, we sat exhausted in the terminal late at night, when a familiar voice called out, “Marty?” Yes, it was Michael, waiting to catch the same flight to Boston. Ironically, that long flight delay ironically became a gift, because it brought us together one more time. I will miss Michael, as will everyone who knew him; and I am so grateful that life had brought us together for so many years. Rest in peace, my friend.

To Terri, Lauren, Craig and Family. Our deepest sympathies and love to you all! When I think of Michael I think of his incredibly warm heart, generosity, and kindness. I will never forget the gratitude I felt the day my son Justin was able to have his hair cut at his salon. It was an incredible breakthrough for him and it was all because Michael’s patience, understanding and skill. For so many children with Autism haircuts are often very difficult. Michael was not only successful with Justin, but give him the foundation for lifelong success. Michael will forever have a special place in our hearts. Sending you all love and comfort- today and always.
