Michael Angelo Padula, III

September 12, 1958 ~ December 25, 2024

Port St. Lucie, Florida –  Michael Angelo Padula, III, 66 of Port St. Lucie Florida entered into eternal rest peacefully at home on Christmas Day, 2024 with family by his side, after a very long and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Michael was the Beloved Husband of Donna Marty Padula, and the proud father of his daughter Susan/Jonathan Desteno.  He is survived by his brothers, Angelo, Arthur, Louis, Andrew/Kathy and Kevin Padula and his loving sister Elisabeth/Dan Szucs, two nephews Ryan and Zach Szucs and three grandchildren Hayden, Anthony and Harper.

In spite of daily pain, Michael took great joy in being a greeter at Christ Fellowship Church.  His contagious smile and warm demeanor were always appreciated by members of the congregation.

Michael was long retired from the Perth Amboy, New Jersey post office, where he worked and was a dedicated, hardworking Superintendent of Postal Operations.  His years of service were marked by commitment and reliability that earned him the respect of colleagues and the community alike.

Michael’s strength and perseverance throughout his many years of illness were an inspiration to those who knew him.  His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Services will be announced by the family at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations are respectfully requested to Christ Fellowship Church 10250 SW Village Parkway Port St Lucie Fl 34987.

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
