Kenneth Earl Martin, 86 of Sebastian, Florida died unexpectedly October 17, 2023 at his home in Sebastian.

Ken was born in Washington, Pennsylvania and has lived in Sebastian for 25 years coming from his birthplace.

He was a graduate of Washington High School, Washington, Pennsylvania. Ken was United States Navy Veteran.

Ken and his wife Patricia were both avid, award winning fishermen and spent many days fishing in the Sebastian Inlet and Indian River.

Survivors include his son, David Martin of Knoxville, Tennessee; sister-in-law, Mary Paxton Miller of Washington, Pennsylvania and several nephews and nieces in the Washington, PA area.

Ken was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Patricia Martin in 2004 and a sister, Janice.

Sending my deepest condolences. I knew Ken my whole life. Growing up in Sebastian with him and Patty was the greatest blessing. They looked out for us and I always admired them. When I eventually went in the military myself, Ken was a big supporter from the beginning and throughout my time in the service. As a fellow veteran, I thank him for his service and for always being a great neighbor.
Again, my deepest condolences.
