Kathleen F. O’Brien, 64 of Palm City , “Kathie” passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart.

Born in August 20, 1955 in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey as Kathleen Anne Folsom, she was the daughter of Charles Clark and Therese (nee Sherer) Folsom.

Kathie served as a school board payroll clerk administrator and lived most of her life in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey.

Survivors include her daughter, Alexa Terese “Ally” O’Brien of Pompton Plains, NJ and mother, Therese Folsom McCloskey of Palm City, as well as her siblings, Charles (and Janet) Folsom of Massachusetts, Joseph Folsom of Pennsylvania, Laura (and Chris) Pochatco of New Jersey, and Susan Venturini of Colorado, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her Father Clark, her stepfather Dr. Joseph McCloskey, and her sister Mary Grace “Muffy” (Folsom) Baumann.

Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
