Kathleen (Kathy) O’Brien passed away on December 25, 2023.  She was born to Clinton and Sophie O’Brien in Southbridge, Massachusetts.  She lived in Palm Bay, Florida for the last 20 years.
Kathy was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Palm Bay.
Kathy worked for the Broward Sheriff’s Office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for over 25 years.  She was a Budget/Accounting Analyst.  She lived in Plantation, Florida then and she was a member of St. Gregory’s Catholic Church, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister.
Kathy was predeceased by her parents, Clinton and Sophie O’Brien, and her brother William (Marilyn).  She leaves behind her brother David (Debbie), sister Janet, sister-in-law Marilyn and best friend Cathy, and nephews Patrick, Timothy and Jesse, along with niece Kelly.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do.
