It is with great sadness that the family of Jean Feathers shares that she passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on August 11, 2024, after a short illness.
Jean was born on September 17, 1964, in Berea, Ohio, the fifth of five children. She moved to Florida with her brother and parents at age 14.
Those of us who knew her and loved her called her Jeannie, or Peaches or Pud. Jeannie loved the beach and enjoyed many fun adventures with friends at the beach and in life. She had an infectious smile and wonderful laugh. She was kind and caring.
Jeannie met and married the love of her life, Michael Feathers. They were married for 38 years until his passing in December 2023.
Jean is survived by her mother Nancy Cran and her sisters, Cindy Rednour (Chuck), Susan Durling (Mark) and Lisa Mroz (Michael). She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Feathers, her brother, Michael Smith and her father, Murray Smith.
Jeannie will always be remembered by all those who loved her, her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, Florida in Jeannie’s memory.
Our caring professionals are here to assist you and your family during this difficult time. We are available 24 hours, 7 days a week to assist in immediate arrangements or pre-arrangements.

To Nancy and family, I am so very sorry to hear of Jeannie’s passing. I saw her two years ago, watching the air show sitting behind the county building. We had such a nice chat. So many good memories with grandma and grandpa Cran as my neighbors. I watched all of you grow up. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of Jeannie’s family. May she rest in peace.
