Janet Thorpe White, 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family May 7, 2024 in Vero Beach, FL. Janet was born in Pittsfield, MA to Rufus & Nellie Thorpe April 28, 1944. Resided in Vero Beach since 1977 with her husband D.R. “Rocky” White and their combined family of seven children. Janet is survived by her children; Sons; John Shulhan, Jr. and Steven Shulhan. Daughters; Pam King, Tracy (Joe) Fersch and Suzanne Clark. Stepchildren; Wendy (Chris) Jacobi, Georgia Martinez, Dean White. Sister; Nora Frederick. She is “Nonnie” to her fourteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, D. Rockwell “Rocky” White. Parents; Rufus and Nellie Thorpe, Brother; James Thorpe, Son-in-laws; Darrell Clark and Timothy Martinez, Step-daughter; Teresa Rubin and grandson; Paul Jacobi.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor our mother, “Nonnie” and friend.

My heartfelt condolences go out to all the family. Janet was one of a kind. A huge generous heart that loved her family more than anything. Always the best time when we walked through her door or any of the family’s door. Made you feel right at home. ❤️❤️❤️
