Francis “Frank/Frankie” John Rosa

April 14, 1955 ~ February 21, 2025

WOLCOTT, CT/FELLSMERE, FL – Francis “Frank/Frankie” John Rosa passed away peacefully on Friday, February 21, 2025, surrounded with the love of family members. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank John Rosa and Loretta Noel Rosa of Wolcott, CT.

Frank is survived by his three wonderful children, Danielle Rosa Roberts of Wolcott, Michael Rosa of Cheshire, and Anthony Rosa (Samantha Curry) of Wolcott. He is grandfather to 9 grandchildren: Cole & Chase Roberts, Juliana & Jordyn McKinney, Addison, Noah & Scarlett Rosa, and Anthony & Evelyn Passino. He is also survived by his four siblings, Carol Rosa Sabia (Russ) of Belmont MA, Paul Rosa (traveling cross country indefinitely with Karen), John Rosa of New Milford, and Catherine Rosa Fagan (John) of West Hartford. He leaves behind his beloved maternal aunt Rita Volpe, with whom he always laughed, and also many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Frank was a builder for most of his career in his business Frank Rosa Quality Building and Remodeling in CT. He moved to Fellsmere Florida in 2013 and started another business, Frank Rosa Tractor Services, LLC, where he worked right up until the end of his life. He learned the building trade working from the age of 12 with his father Frank Rosa of Rosa Home Improvements. His son Michael merged his own construction with Rosa Home Improvements and continues the family building tradition for the 3rd generation with M.F. Rosa Contracting LLC.

Frank relied on his faith throughout his life and especially in his later years. He enjoyed riding both his Harley and his horses, drag racing cars that he built from the ground up, restoring classic cars, fishing, vacationing in Maine, water skiing, and living life to the fullest. He always had at least one German Shepard dog and leaves behind his beloved dogs, Bear and Sam.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Frank’s honor to Saint Jude Children’s Hospital.

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
