Donald L. Tankersley (Tank) of Vero Beach Florida.

He passed away at Vero Beach Care Center on Thursday, March 13, 2025 with Dementia.

He was born on September 20, 1962 in Vero Beach Florida. He was a long-life residence of Vero Beach, FL for 62 years. He graduated from St. James Academy. He has been married to Kelly Tankersley for over 40 years a total together 48 years they were married on August 31, 1985.

 

He was a land surveyor for 28 years his first job was at the age of 14 a bag boy for Publix, Keens grocery and at the age of 17 he worked for Weatherington land surveyor 12 and then Karners and Associates and from there he ended up going to Culpepper and Terpennig which he enjoyed for over 18 years. He enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his wife. Kelly A. Tankersley, two sons Christopher Earl Tankersley, Benjamin Hardy Tankersley, grandsons Caleb Hardy Tankersly, Zach Evans, Tony Evans, Jacob Evans, Emily Evans Leyva, Raelyn Grace Tankersley. He has a brother Robbie Tankersley, Sisters, Denise Nestor, Machele Combs. He also has a stepson, Joshua Kendall.

His parents are also deceased his mother, Gloria A. Rehberg Darnell, stepfather Jack Walker, Grandparents Lorenzo Rehberg, Vera Rehberg, great Grandparents Robert Brinson, Ruth Brinson. Grandson, Braden Donald Tankersley.
