Dominic Daniel DiMaria, age 70, of Sebastian, FL passed away March 15, 2022 at Sebastian River Medical Center in Sebastian, FL.
Dominic was born in Jamestown, New York on April 13, 1951 (Yes, it was a Friday!). Demo is survived by his loving -and very patient- wife, Maureen. He was dad to two daughters, Lauren and Quinn, brother to John, Brian and Al, and dog walker to Luna, his black Lab.
Demo lived his life like a frisbee in the wind – stubborn, unpredictable and hilarious. He could sell anything: from socks to cars, glass cutters to water softeners, houses to boxed fruit. Mostly, he sold joy and laughter. He always has a “knee slapper” ready, and it didn’t matter whether he had told it before, it was still funny to him, and that made it still funny to us.
He gathered his friends around him like a flock and tended to us with care. He called to check in often, never missed a birthday, and somehow knew when we needed a little lift. He connected us, and in the community he created, he found his purpose. We will miss that.
No services are planned, and no donations are suggested. Hug a loved one, tell a joke, laugh until you cry. That’s the way Demo wanted it.
Our caring professionals are here to assist you and your family during this difficult time. We are available 24 hours, 7 days a week to assist in immediate arrangements or pre-arrangements.
