I was so sadden to hear of Mrs. Brunners passing “Dianne” as she was an absolute treasure of a person. She and her husband, John were some of my parents, John and Merle Oglesby’s best friends. They enjoyed so many summer vacations together at Forest Lake. My Mom and Dianne could talk for hours and would laugh a lot. The couples that were often found on the tennis court together with Dianne and John were my parents, Sandy and Carl Engstrom, and Billy and Betty Payne. There was always a big crowd of friends hanging out at our camp picnic table, on the porches of: Engstroms, Paynes, and Browns (Katie and Tom). I also was very close friends with their daughter, Beth and spent many moments on their front porch and even played tennis with the gang sometimes. Besides their times at Forest Lake my parents went on vacations to Bermuda with the Dianne and John on multiple occasions. Dianne will sadly be missed – she always had a vibrant smile. I fondly wish the whole family – John, Beth, Steve, and Mike and all of the grandchildren to treasure all your special moments together. Much Love, The Oglesby Family (Trey, Rick, and Doug)
