I have just learned of Dave’s passing when I was unable to contact him during my latest phone call. Dave has been a good friend since the 1950’s in Cardiff, Wales. We attended the Llandaff Technical College together, and I was instrumental in helping Dave and Gaynor come to America in the `60’s and assist in finding his first job in New Jersey. We lived in different parts of the country over the past 50 years, but it was always a pleasure to connect with Dave and Gaynor either over the `phone or in person in Fort Lauderdale, over a “pint”. Both great people, who were always welcoming and who always enjoyed life. Although they have now both passed, we can rejoice in the fact that they are now back together once again, to carry on the love affair that they had with each other since our days in Cardiff, a half a century ago. Rest in Peace, my good friends……..
