Curtis David West III, 67 of Vero Beach passed away unexpectedly on April 14. 2024. He was born on July 30, 1956 in Dothan, Al to the parents of Curtis David West Jr. and Marie Cline West.
He graduated from Marianna High School in 1974. Attended Chipola College with a AA degree and Graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Psychology.
He resided in West Palm Beach for several years as a Clinical Psychologist. David was an accomplished drummer. He was the drummer for several bands. Memories of him walking by drumming on your head, legs or shoulders. He also loved all genres of music.
He was predeceased in death by his paternal grandparents, Curtis D West Sr and Ora Frances West; his maternal grandparents, Edwin D Cline and Ruby Marie Cline; his parents, Curtis D West Jr and Marie Cline West.

He is survived by two sisters Mary Kathryn Quick and Tammy Ruby Frances West, one brother John Mulkey and one Aunt Barbara Cline. Survivors also included three nieces, Angela Postma, Nicole Garcia, and Deanna Bailey, and two nephews Joe Quick 111 and Nathan Mulkey. There are also six great-nieces Sarah Quick, Rachel Quick, Samantha Quick, Kelly Quick, Leah Bailey and Ruby Bailey.

David will be remembered by his love of playing the drums and favorite places were Turners Landing and the Chipola River.

Arrangements were under the direction of Millennium Cremation Service. Thank you to Rachel Delashmutt for all her assistance and comforting experience.
