Conrad Shawn Grebe

May 15, 1965 ~ August 08, 2024

Conrad Shawn Grebe, 59, known affectionately as “Shawn,” passed away unexpectedly on August 8, 2024, after a brief illness. Born in Michigan and raised in Arizona, Shawn made Sebastian his home for the past 35 years, where he was a beloved husband, father, and friend.

Shawn is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Kelly, and their three sons: Brandon Grebe (and his wife, Lexi) of Vero Beach, Nicholas Grebe of Sebastian, and Jeremy Grebe of Sebastian. He is also survived by his mother, Roberta Van Slambrouck of Arizona, sister, Stephanie Paredez of Arizona, brother, Nicholas Grebe (and his wife, Amy) of North Carolina and was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Grebe. Shawn’s greatest joy was his family, and he took immense pride in every moment spent with them.

Professionally, Shawn was known for his integrity and dedication. He enjoyed a distinguished career at Parker Hannifin, spanning over 33 years, where he held various management and mentoring positions. Through his work, Shawn built many lifelong friendships and left a lasting impact on those around him.

Outside of his career, Shawn was a true handyman and a problem-solver at heart. He took great pleasure in fixing his family’s cars, assisting with home repairs and improvements, and tackling any project his wife requested—all on his own timeline. His resourcefulness, determination, and willingness to learn new skills to support his family were hallmarks of his character.

Shawn was a fighter who faced every challenge with strength and resilience. His legacy is one of profound love, unwavering support, and commitment to his family.

As we gather to honor Shawn’s life, we celebrate the impact he made on our lives, his unwavering strength, and the countless memories that will forever remain in our hearts.

A memorial service will be held to pay tribute to his remarkable life and enduring legacy.

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
