Carol Ann (Doyle) Arnold

Carol Ann (Doyle) Arnold passed away peacefully at home on November 26, 2024. Carol was born on July 15, 1936 in Pontiac, Michigan to Violet (“Vi”) Mae and Thomas (“Jack”) John Doyle. She was the beloved wife and high school sweetheart of the late Gerald (“Jerry”)Patrick Arnold.

Carol grew up in Pontiac, Michigan and then resided with her husband in Waterford, Michigan were they raised their children. Together they spent their summers in Bay Port, Michigan where they enjoyed time with family and friends, boating, fishing, water skiing and the beautiful sunsets. Carol was also an avid bowler, golfer and enjoyed traveling with Jerry many dear friends, some of which referred to their travel as “adventures.” The last year of Carol’s life was spent in a Florida east coast town where she and her husband previously wintered.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Sue Ann Arnold and her husband Henry Takouni, her son, Thomas John Arnold, her beloved granddaughter, Kellie Ann Lopiccola and beloved great grandchildren, Violet Ann and Rocco Anthony Lopiccola.

A memorial for Carol will be held in Waterford, Michigan with a date to be announced.

Please don’t mourn Carol’s passing but find peace that she once again with Jerry and celebrate her life!
