Bernadine Bowen, affectionately known as ‘Miss Bunny,’ passed away peacefully at home on July 9, 2024, at the age of 91, surrounded and cared for by her only surviving daughter, Debbie Dominguez.
Born in Boise, Idaho in 1933, she was the daughter of Esther Cox and Reginald Clark.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion. Miss Bunny is survived by her brother Duane Clark, 5 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son Ronald Groves and daughters Diane Odom and Vicki Barker, as well as her sisters Phyllis Montgomery and Dorothy Gilbert, and brother Richard Clark.
Miss Bunny dedicated her life to providing child care services as the owner and operator of Miss Bunny’s TLC and Enrichment Center in Palm Bay, Florida for almost two decades.
Her life’s work centered around spreading the word of God, particularly in Rancho Viejo, Mexico, where she helped build a church and provide for the community in ways that will live on generationally.

Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do.
