Saturday, August 7, 2021-Beloved wife, sister, mother, friend, & The Best Grandma ever, Barbara Ann Auger, passed away. Just the week prior, she celebrated her 85th birthday. Barbara Ann Fraiser was born in Derby, Connecticut on the 27th of July in 1936. She became Mrs. Barbara Auger when she married Roger Auger in 1959.
In 1978, Barbara, Roger & their 4 children; Richie, Elaine, Linda & Ray settled in the Vero Beach area. And for the next 43 years, Barbara enjoyed gardening, & dearly loved cooking for her ever-expanding family. She was a delight to behold on a dance floor. And as a mom of four, a Grandma of seven & a Great Grandma of 9, she took full advantage of all the dancing opportunities available thru the many family milestones & celebrations.
One of Barbara’s greatest gifts was her ability to bring such joy to every occasion. Always quick to smile, ready to laugh out loud & dance. She was fun guaranteed.
Whether as a wife, sister, friend, mother or grandma, she always gave freely of her time, & would patiently listen without any judgement whatsoever. Because she loved so unconditionally, you felt safe & secure knowing that this was a true & loyal confidant
As a devout Catholic, Barbara regularly attended weekly Mass. If ever unable to attend, she would faithfully participate via the internet.
Barbara Ann is survived by her husband of 61 years Roger Ronald Auger/Vero Beach; her younger sister, Frances Kowalski/Joe/ Bethany, CT; daughters Elaine Treat & Linda Lykins; son Richie Auger/Patty. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents & her son Raymond R Auger.

Roger — Ray and I can not tell you how incredibly sad we are with the passing of Barbara. We both loved her so much. She was such a fun lady to be around and so happy we had a chance to spend some time with her when we were in Vero. She always was so positive and enjoyable. She always gave me such great advice. We will certainly miss her. Ray and Cheryl Hoye
