Ann Beret Castleberry, 88, of Melbourne, Florida passed away October 18, 2024, in Palm Bay, Florida.

Ann was born October 22, 1935, in Lansing, Michigan to parents Faris and Virginia Cowart. She was raised in Miami, Florida where she worked as a model for the Black & White Shop. Ann had a love for fashion and animals. She had two Yorkshire terriers named Corky and Chaz.

Ann is predeceased by her parents, Faris and Virginia Cowart; and her siblings: Lynne, Patricia, and Ris.

Left to cherish Ann’s memory is her daughter, Kim Beret Daly; sons: Kevin Castleberry, Keith Castleberry, and Craig Castleberry; grandchildren: Brielle, Ciara, Adam, Kade, and Kyle; and numerous beloved friends and family. Ann loved her children and grandchildren deeply and will be missed by many.

A Private Prayer Service will be held by the family at Woodlawn Cemetery in Miami, FL.

Dear Mom,
I really wish things were different between us these past few years. It saddens me to know that you had to endure health issues and stress over many years of your life. What brings me some peace is that you are now pain free, and in a much better place reunited with Mr. Kolb. We love you and will miss you always .

Dear Mom, Now that you are not with us, I will miss you beyond words can say. Sometimes, I just get the urge to pickup the phone and call you, only to realize I can’t ; for that reason I will treasure our memories and talks. Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do.
