Carl Dawson Steinke, 74, a lifelong resident of Florida, passed away January 18, 2023 at his home in Vero Beach, FL. He was born July 3, 1948 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Steinke served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and later worked as a mechanic.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Susan Steinke; daughters, Julie Belanger, Michelle Steinke and Nicole Harrison; step-sons, Timothy (Dodie) Ledford and Jeffrey Ledford; step-daughters, Jennifer (Mike) Nichols and Christine (Nick) Butler; step-mother, Jeannette Steinke; brothers, Paul (Diane) Steinke and Mark Steinke; sisters, Christina (Robert) Kobeck, Theresa (Neal) Thaggard, Darlene (Jim) Dempsey, Gale McKnight and numerous grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Carl Chester Steinke.
