Ashley Christyne Duke Dawson

June 17, 1984 ~ January 04, 2023

Ashley Christyne Duke Dawson, 38, of Okeechobee, Florida, formerly of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away January 4, 2023.  Her health had been improving, however, she died in HCA hospital due to an apparent bout of FLU-A and pneumonia.

Ashley was born June 17, 1984 in Cleveland, Ohio to Amy Friedel and Andrew Duke IV.  She resided in the area most of her life but also made her family feel at home in California, West Virginia, Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida.

Ashley loved life, her babies, family, friends, and all animals.  She was fun loving, loved to travel, and encouraged everyone to be positive. She was Catholic. She was always looking for a way to help people and animals.  These attributes have rubbed off on her children.

She is survived by her beloved children Bailee, MacKenzie, Andrew, and Merrilee, loving parents Amy (Frank) and Andrew (Tlisa), adoring partner Amber, sibling Angela (Shawn), and droves of family and friends.

A Celebration of Life is being planned and upon completion announcements will be made.

Arrangements are under the direction of Millennium Cremation Service.  Condolences may be shared online at www.millenniumcremationservice.com.

So beautiful, such a loving and caring heart. I am grateful to now know who Ashley truly was and what an incredible soul she always possessed. She is a blessed, budding memory to us. A fresh, new blossom to God.
My deepest sympathies to Amy, the children and all who love her.

Oh my goodness. My sweet sweet Ashley. My heart breaks right now just finding out that you are gone. At the same time I’m jealous you are at home with our heavenly father. We talked a few times about what we thought heaven would be like. Oh how wonderful it must be to run into our savior Jesus’s arms. Till we meet again. Prayers for your family and friends loss as well
Love your beloved friend❤️

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
