Kathleen Beth Rainwater (nee, Hill) of Vero Beach, FL, died June 6, 2022. She was born in Bay City, MI to Mary Helen and Rex Hill on September 11, 1955. She was a graduate of John Glenn High School in Bay City, MI. She went on to marry Dennis Rainwater, on April 6, 1974. She continued her education and graduated from Jackson Community College with her associate degree in nursing. Kathy worked as a nurse for over 30 years, mostly in various children’s hospitals.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Dennis Rainwater; their daughters, Krystal and Melissa (Michael); their son, David (Catherine); her sister, Susie, as well as their grandchildren, Diedrah, Majesta, Dakota, Nicole, Donavon, Blake, Lauren, Claudia, Grant, Ariana, Katelyn, and Tabitha. She is also survived by their great grandchildren, MacKennzie, Novella, and Finnley. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mary Helen and Rex, and their great-grandson, Griffin.

I am so sad to hear the news of Kathleen’s passing, she was a sweet lady and I really enjoyed the time I spent with her and Dennis. I pray she is dancing with Jesus and living in His glory! Deepest condolences to the family and to Dennis.

Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
