Ellen Lenore Warshaw

Ellen Lenore Warshaw, a caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed on May 21, 2022, at the age of 88. She was born to Theron Henderson Pittman and Frances Mooney in Long Beach, California on March 24, 1934.
She married Thomas Warshaw in 1952 and they lived together in Long Beach, New York. Together they raised 2 children, Thomas Warshaw, and Steven Warshaw. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Tyler Warshaw and Emily Markle.
In addition to being a homemaker, Ellen worked as a home health aide and was passionate about caring for those in need. Ellen was a woman of strong conviction and faith and enjoyed sharing her faith with those around her. Ellen was a kind-hearted person who had a giving spirit. Ellen loved nature and enjoyed spending her time camping and traveling. Ellen enjoyed singing, dancing, and spending time with her family and friends.

I’m so sorry to learn of Mrs. Warshaw’s passing…she truly was a kind lady who loved life and lived it to its fullest…always had kind acts and was the perfect Mom in the neighborhood…she drove us to every event that we wanted to attend unselfishly….Rest in Peace, Ma’am!
