Lawrence Simonetti Jr., 70, of Vero Beach, Florida, died May 4 at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Larry lived in Massachusetts before settling in Florida. He enjoyed many friendships from both his work in the auto and marine industries and through his music and church. Larry was a multi-talented musician, singing and playing guitar, piano, and accordion throughout his life. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycling, cars, and designing/building models.
Larry was predeceased by his mother, Beverley Simonetti and his daughter, Lisa Duenas. He leaves his father, Lawrence Simonetti Sr. of Vero Beach; his brother, Steven Simonetti, his sister, Janie Hill and her husband, Owen. Larry leaves his children, Lawrence Simonetti III, Mystique Clayton, Dominic Sparks and Nicole Simonetti, along with grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Larry enjoyed spending time with his grandson, Daniel, helping him catch his first fish and ride his first bike.
Through his sense of humor and music, Larry always kept us laughing and entertained. He will be missed.

Colie, I was so sad to hear about your Dad. We had a lot of fun here on the Cape and riding Harleys down there in Vero.

Larry was an amazing man, who taught me what true friendship was. I’m sorry that he is gone but excited for him because I know he’s with God. I will see him again some day, when I go to be with God. Nicole, I’m so sorry for your loss and wish you the best…..
