Rita E. Faillace, 68, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2022 at the VNA Hospice House.
She was born August 31, 1953 in New York, New York and had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1995, coming from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
Rita was an accomplished Artist, who worked with oil and water based paints and created mixed media pieces. Her work has been showcased in multiple venues. She also enjoyed photography and was a Reiki Master and Massage Therapist. Rita loved animals and volunteered at the Humane Society of Vero Beach, visiting and playing music for the dogs and cats.
She leaves her memories to be cherished by her husband of 42 years, Guy G. Faillace of Vero Beach, daughter, Dawn Faillace-Dillon and her husband, Brendan Dillon, and two grandchildren, Jackson and Alivia Dillon of Melville, New York.
A celebration of Rita’s life will be held at a later date.

It is with great sadness to hear of Rita’s passing. So grateful I got to see her about 6 months ago at an art show…walking her puppies. I was always excited to see Rita. I guess I was like her groupie. She taught me many things but most helpful was her gentle spirit, true humility and walking grace. My sincerest sympathy to Faillace and Dillon families.
