Betty June Sheaffer Petroff Hamilton was born June 8, 1930 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She was the 6th of 12 children born to Meda J. Fisher and Thomas Frank Sheaffer.
Betty graduated from William Penn High School. She worked for the Bell Telephone Company and AT&T until her retirement. She was a member of the Bell Telephone Pioneers. She was preceded in death by all but 3 of her siblings, sisters, Clarice Odenkirk, Patricia Klinger and brother, Donald. Betty was also preceded in death by husbands, Jordon Petroff and Norman Hamilton.
Betty was loved by all who knew her. She was loving and generous. She had a smile that would brighten a room and a laugh that was infectious.
Betty had no children of her own but loved all of her nieces and nephews as her own.
The family would like to express our gratitude to the Brookdale staff as well as Nurse on Call for the loving care provided during this journey.
She will be greatly missed by all. May she rest in peace and suffer no more.
A celebration of life will be scheduled in the future.
God Bless Aunt Bessie.

Bessie was my favorite aunt. Had so much fun with her and Uncle Pete when I was a kid. Love ya Bess.
