Armando M. Matos

On Saturday , December 4th, 2021, Armando Matos, husband and father of six daughters, passed away, of natural causes, at the age of 68. Armando was born on January 13, 1953, in Alcochete, Portugal, to Adelino Nunes De Matos and Beatriz Marques Rodrigues. On February 16, 1983, he married Nancy Patricia Matos. Together, they raised four daughters, Melissa, Stephanie, Amanda, and Michelle.
Armando worked as a general contractor until his early retirement due to health issues. He loved the outdoors, and spent his recreational time hunting and fishing. Armando was preceded in death by his father, Adelino. He is survived by his mother, Beatriz, wife, Nancy, his six children, Sandra, Andrea, Melissa, Stephanie, Amanda, and Michelle, Grandchildren Daniel, and Jose, His brothers Mario and Agusto and Sister, Laura, and several brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, and nephews. To honor Armando’s wishes, a funeral service will not be held, those who would like to attend a Memorial Mass please contact the family. He wished to be cremated. During a small gathering of his immediate family, his remains will be scattered where he loved to be the most, out at sea. May Armando rest easy and move gently with the calm waves of the ocean. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you engage in one or more random acts of kindness. Call a friend or relative you haven’t reached out to recently. Forgive someone. All acts of kindness are appreciated.
