Loretta Robinson Dangerfield, 78, of Vero Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, after a long battle with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
She was born in Lamero, KY on June 7, 1943, to the late Robert and Mattie Robinson. The youngest of 5 children, Loretta was raised in Hamilton, OH and moved to Vero Beach in 1962.
Loretta worked over 40 years in banking. Her career began at the Citrus Bank, which is now the location of Vero Furniture Mart, and she retired from Wells Fargo. She was an active member and greeter at the Pathway Church Vero Beach.
Loretta enjoyed time spent celebrating birthdays with her dear friends, “The Golden Girls”.
She was a devoted wife of over 50 years to Bruce Dangerfield and the beloved mother of David Robert Dangerfield, who predeceased her in 2016. She leaves her memories to be cherished by her stepdaughter, Torri Ann Crummel; step-grandsons, Blake and Jake Crummel; grandsons, Christopher Dangerfield, and his mother, Diane, and Bryce Dangerfield and step-granddaughter, Alyssa Motta.
Loretta was predeceased by her siblings, Arthur Robinson, Everett Steniffer, Edna Hughes, and Gladys Johnston.

Mrs. Dangerfield was a wonderful neighbor. She was always quick with a wave hello. We had a some laughs over their dog Rudy when he made some unannounced visits to my yard.
