Rita M. Bremer, 81, of Fort Pierce, Florida, passed away November 6, 2021, at Treasure Coast Hospice.
She was born May 9, 1940, in Dunkirk, NY to the late Ceila and Ignatius Gawronski. Rita graduated from Dunkirk High School in 1958 and was of the Catholic faith.
She, along with her husband William, owned and operated the Kettle and Keg for 11 years until their retirement in 1989 when they relocated to Ft. Pierce, FL.
Rita leaves her memories to be cherished by her husband of 46 years, William C. Bremer; children, Daniel Halas, Robert Halas, Joseph Halas, Dennis Halas, Gary Halas, William Halas, Deborah (Robert) LeGrano, Howard Bremer, Sandra Jakubowski, Kevin (Rebecca) Bremer, Karen (Terry) Dellert and Kathleen Bremer; brothers Harry Gawronski and William (Judy) Gawronski; 24 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, John Gawronski and sister, Virginia Corbin.
A memorial service will be held in Dunkirk at a later date.
