I have known Rachel for many many years. One of my days I went to the house to visit, she was sitting outside sunning herself with her bra and shorts on, and she asked me to join her. I could not do that. We sat there sunning ourselve and fell asleep. She always had a smile, was funny, and loved her family and animals. She will be deeply missed. RIP.

I was fortunate enough to connect with Rachel through a wish on the Wish Upon A Hero website and we corresponded with letter & postcards from our various travels over the last 16 years. I was LUCKY enough to finally meet her last year on our trip around the USA and she called me her “Birthday Present” as it was close to that day. We had a lovely visit, enjoyed dinner (thanks Chef Wayne) and shared laughs! She was a delightful person and I was truly blessed to have had her in my life. Sincere condolences to her entire family!
