My buddy, golf partner and an overall wonderful human being is gone from our lives. Such a good guy. Lynn and I will miss him dearly. Alline, we will also miss our twice weekly hour long gab sessions and our family will miss his friendship as well. The world is a lesser place this week!

A great friend and truly wonderful man has passed on. I didn’t know much about Tom when he came to me about car pooling together. Though I wasn’t crazy about the idea, my financial situation caused me to agree. My necessity resulted in my great fortune of being Tom’s friend for 40 years. He was kind and compassionate, would listen and argue, always be fair, and had a fantastic sense of humor. He loved the Phillies, Vince Lombardi, Breyers Ice Cream, and his friends. But mostly he loved his siblings, his sons and their families and his wife Alline and his life with her. Tom had some major medical problems, but always fought back. A deeply religious person, he did not go gently into that goodnight. We will miss him forever.

It just won’t be the same without Tom. We were fortunate to know Tom and Alline, first as a coworker, then as lifelong friends. Tom made friends with everyone, coworkers, customers, doctors, neighbors, golf buddies, the list is endless. Tom had a rough go of it lately, but always took the time to stay in touch, never complaining (except about the Phillies), always concerned how everyone was doing. Our condolences to the extended Venti family. Tom will be sorely missed.
