I knew Doug initially as a representative who became a friend. He was knowledgeable, friendly and one of my favorite HVAC agents. We also did a good business together in spite of the economy which was a testimony to his product lines, experienced personnel and quality service. I will miss him.

Dear Pat, My sincere condolences for your loss of Doug. I worked for Ed Seniza and Doug for 14 years. Doug was the sole owner since 2005 after Ed passed away. I learned a great deal about the workings of Middleton & Assoc. and enjoyed working for a company that cared about their employees welfare. Ed and Doug always treated me with respect and trust. I will always remember my years at M & A and how much they influenced my years before I retired at the end of 2008. RIP Doug, you deserve a rest. My best, Marie.

I remember Doug as a good guy and a straight shooter. The first time I met Doug was in the early 80’s during a business trip where i learned he was a much better poker player than i was LOL, My sincere condolences to his family

My deepest sympathy: Can I be sad and smile at the same time? Yes, definitely. As I set in my home office Doug is in a picture on my wall about three feet from me. One of many fun and memorable times when work and fun were a way of life. I especially remember a day when Doug and Ed came to Oklahoma City and brought Stone Crab. The requirement while we played golf was that Doug requested Key Lime pie. There are no Key Limes in OKC and my wife was in a complete panic that what she made would not live up to standards. When Doug said it was the best he ever had, she was so happy she almost cried. They say if you are lucky you will have good friends. I am lucky. Thank-you Pat for putting up with late dinners and all the rest.

To Patricia Hassell, wife of Doug, & family,
I went to high school with Doug and thought he was a great guy. I can’t remember if I saw him at an early class reunion or not.
It sounds like he had a good life and you were a special part of it. I know losing the love of your life is difficult.
I lost my first husband 32 years ago And Tom over a year ago after 22 years. I send my prayers for your strength at this difficult time.
