Linda Ann Collette, aged 69, passed away on March 18, 2025, in Vero Beach, FL. Born on September 20, 1955, Linda was known for her caring and loving nature, often going out of her way to support those around her. A devoted homemaker, she dedicated her life to nurturing her family, creating a warm and welcoming home filled with love.
Linda had a creative spirit, enjoying ceramics and woodcrafts. She also loved traveling to Gatlinburg TN. Her joy was most evident when spending time with her beloved grandchildren, who she adored spoiling.
Linda is survived by her mother Jacqueline Gillette; daughter Amy (Evan) Lobdell; son James (Melody) Collette; Jackie Booth, mother of grandchildren Bryce and Brianna Collette; grandchildren, Lacey, Logan and her grand dog Mia Lobdell; siblings, Barbara (Steve) Sims, Sandra Gorman; and Charles (Theresa) Gillette. Linda also leaves behind a cherished circle of six nieces and nephews, along with nine great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles “The Blade” Gillette, two grandmothers, an aunt and uncle and her Toy Poodle Emmy.
Linda was a member of Saint John of the Cross Catholic Church, where she enjoyed attending with her family.
Linda’s life was marked by her unwavering kindness and generosity, touching the lives of many. Linda’s memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her.
