Robert “Bob” Edward Jarvis

Robert “Bob” Edward Jarvis entered into rest on February 18, 2025, at Williams Childs Hospice House surrounded by his family.

Bob was born November 9, 1946, in Atlanta Georgia to Katherine Anderson Jarvis and John James Jarvis Sr of Atlanta. Bob served in the US Army during the Vietnam war. He then started working with Delta Airlines and retired after 30 years of service. He later decided to go back to college and received a degree in IT. He was fondly known as Bob the computer guy. He cherished his children and beloved grandchildren.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents and sister Elizabeth “Betty” Bearden, and his loves of his life Joyce, Cheryl and Pat. He is survived by his sister Ann Dillard, his children Stephanie Pettitt (James), Beth Mitchell (Thomas) and John Jarvis. Grandchildren Jessica, Samuel, Vivian, James and Dylan and great grandchildren Randy and Marcus.

Services will be held by the family in Atlanta Georgia at a later date.
