Benoit H Goodin (Ben), age 75, of Fort Pierce. FL, passed away on Aug 14, 2024.
Ben was born in Littleton, NH to Benoit J. Goodin and Beryl Morrison and grew up in Hartford, CT. He met his wife Linda in 1965 and was married in 1968 and became a resident of Enfield, CT before moving to the State of Georgia and then retiring in the State of Florida.
He served in the US Army from November 1968 to November 1971. Before retiring, he was an Electron Beam Welder for United Technologies and loved his job. He was proud to always say he got to work on the astronauts back packs.
Ben is survived by his wife, Linda; Sons David and Jason; granddaughter Savanna Goodin; grandsons Anthony Goodin; Aaron Goodin and his wife Sara; Lincoln Goodin and Owen Goodin. Step grandsons Michael Novak; John Novak; Scott Novak and Corey Novak. And 7 great grandchildren.
Ben was predeceased by his daughter, Karey Goodin.
Ben loved joking around with people and enjoyed life to the fullest. He enjoyed being with his grandkids and family. He loved softball when he was younger. He loved his 1977 Firebird. He will be missed by all.
