I am so very sorry for your loss. I never met Roy, but I was a friend of his brother Joe. Joe had many wonderful memories of his brother Roy.

Richard and I cherish our memories of our times together! We are so thankful for Roy’s influence in our lives as our Sunday School teacher when we moved to Florida in 1982. We became a part of the Kennedy family and will forever thank God for choosing us to be “family!” We look forward to the day we will all be reunited with the Father that Roy was faithful to point others to and leaves a rich legacy behind in the lives of all those he touched. I’m so sad to see that your father passed. I was very fortunate to meet him in 2012 and rent his house in Flowery Branch for a little over a year. He was the kindest, most generous man. When I met him to talk about renting, we talked for at least 2 hours and it was like we had been friends for years. He gave me a leg to stand on after I went thru a divorce and was the single mom of a 5 & 6 year old. When Will had his brain tumor and surgery while we rented from him, your Dad was even more amazing and helped me out again. I will never forget his kindness and him believing in me when I didn’t believe in myself. We kept in touch for a long time but it has been a couple of years since we chatted. May your memories of him bring you peace and comfort. You will be in my prayers. I will never forget him.
