James Morris, born on October 2, 1959, passed away peacefully in his sleep at 6:45 p.m. on July 22, 2024. Known affectionately as Jim, he leaves behind many dear friends and three brothers. Despite being struck down by illness, he fought hard, with the support of his friends, brothers and VNA Hospice, but he is now in a better place. Jim joins his mother, father, and other family members and friends who have passed, and we honor his memory with respect and love.
Jim’s friends and colleagues appreciated his unwavering dedication to Fischer & Sons, a successful real estate developer in the Sebastian area, where he worked for over 35 years. His hard work and commitment earned him great respect and honor within the company and the community. His relationship with Jean and Robert and his coworkers and the owners, Henry Jr. and his father, was special and long lasting. Their support was equally strong.
A man with a big heart, Jim was a caregiver and a giving, devoted friend. He helped support Adriann and her now deceased son Jeremy and maintained a close relationship with Valerie and her family. His military service with the US Coast Guard is noteworthy, his lifelong loyalty and dedication to his family and friends is and will always be memorable.
We wish Jim Godspeed on his journey to be with the Lord in his Kingdom . His legacy of kindness, dedication, and love will be cherished by all who knew him.
Jim’s family and friends will privately gather, but in memory of Jim please offer donations for VNA Hospice; through this link; https://vnatc.org/waystogive/memorials-and-honorariums/

Jimmy was such a nice man, and loved by all of us at Henry Fischer & Sons. He was a man of few words, but so kind at the same time. My favorite and funny memory of Jimmy was told to me by Henry, Jr., where one morning, Henry found Jimmy sitting at Henry’s desk, with his feet propped up on Henry’s desk reading the Wall Street Journal. I still laugh when I think of that! I am so sorry for all Jimmy had to go through these past six months. We will all miss him, but find comfort in knowing he has joined his Mother and Father in Heaven. Rest in Peace, Jimmy.

Jimmy and I were friends for over 30 years. He was more than a friend. He was more like a brother. There was so much more to Jimmy than most people realized. Because he was such a quiet person, many people didn’t perceive what an extremely intelligent person he was. He was also one of the most compassionate people I have ever known.
During his illness he never complained. He took each step of this journey with positivity and faith.
I am so thankful that throughout this illness he didn’t feel any pain. That is truly a blessing.
The love and support Jimmy received from his loving brothers, many friends and hospice caregivers was pivotal.
I miss you “Jimmy James”

A heart of gold stopped beating Working hands at rest .God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best . Leaves and flowers may wither . The golden sun may set . But the hearts that loved you dearly are the ones that won’t forget.
Jim I will miss you more than you know. We laughed at so many things and talked about everything. I know I was your favorite sister in law ( lol ) and I will make sure your memory lives on . I know you are flying high with Jeremy just like you wanted.
Remember never goodbye. Until we see each other again. Rest in Peace
