Robert Edward Horton, Jr, 67 of Vero Beach, FL went home to be with his heavenly father on July 10, 2024, after a two-year battle with cancer.

Bob was born on May 27, 1957, to Hester & Robert Horton, Sr. in Atlanta, GA. After graduating high school Bob attended Georgia State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Bob then went on to attend the University of Michigan Ross School of Business where he earned his Masters of Business Administration in 1980.

Following college, Bob enjoyed much professional and personal success at several major corporations, including Chrysler Corporation, Tenneco, Ryder Truck Rental and AMRE. In February 1999 Bob started Trademarketing Resources, Inc. in Detroit, MI where he served as Owner and CEO.

Bob was beloved by his friends and family known for being everyone’s favorite tech support, car guy, confidante, father, brother, business advisor, golf instructor and puppy dad. He was known to us all as the best Gentleman Papa Bear and friend. An extraordinary and loving husband to Gincy, he made all her dreams come true and then some. He lived his life helping everyone he met. To meet Bob was to want to be like Bob.

He left this earth a better place and we were all lucky to have him.

Bob is survived by his loving and grateful wife, Gincy; children, Madison Rosenfeld (Anthony), Harrison Rosenfeld (Nikki); grandchildren, Hunter Jay Rosenfeld; brother, Derek Horton (Jeannie); brother-in-law, Roy Lunsford; an abundance of nieces and nephews and their families who were greatly loved by Bob and last but not least, Mike Rachuy, Lorene and Vicki.
