Dad
I can’t believe you are gone. It doesn’t seem real. I’m so glad me and Madi got to spend so much time with you over the last few months. I know all you wanted was to go home. I wish you could’ve. I know you are with my brother now. It won’t be the same here without you. Thank you for everything you’ve done for me during my whole life. You were a good father and a great man.

I will miss you every day grandpa. You taught me how to float and watched countless movies with me as a kid. I will think of you every time I see a $2 bill. I will think of you every time I pass a post office. I will think of you every coin I see. I will think of you every stamp I see, every foster dog I see, every holiday I will think about you. I will miss you beyond measure forever and I’m grateful for the time we had together. I love you.
