William Edward Silbach, Jr.

May 17, 1954 ~ May 22, 2024

William “Bill” Silbach Jr., 70, of Vero Beach, passed away peacefully after a long illness on May 22, 2024. Bill was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to William Silbach and Virginia Noak. He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Wendy Lynn Hindmarch Silbach. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael and brother-in-law, John (Debbie) Hindmarch. He is survived by his children, William E. Silbach III; Amy (Michael) Davis; and, David (Ashley) Silbach. His loving grandchildren; Andrew, Tyler, Emily, and Chase Davis; Connor, Cameron, Landon, and David Silbach Jr.; Bailey Silbach. He is also survived by sister-in-laws, Donna (Robert) Lee and Deborah (Ray) Camp; brother-in-laws, David Hindmarch and Brian (Amy) Hindmarch, sisters Carol (Bruce) Kingsbury and Patricia Silbach and many nieces and nephews.
Bill enjoyed playing softball, fishing/deep sea fishing, and playing bocce’. He loved his beach and his pool time. He loved traveling with his wife and always bragged about his grandkids. Bill always had a good story to tell and you could always find him enjoying a cold beer watching his beloved Steelers.
Service will be held on Saturday, June, 1 at 11:00 am at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 900 27th Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32960 with Pastor Chris Kollmann officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to offset expenses.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do.
