Ruthann Funk entered God’s Kingdom, with unwavering faith, on January 24, 2024 at VNA Hospice House surrounded by her family.
Ruthann was born to Jack and Maude Colvin on December 27, 1955 in Vero Beach, FL. She graduated from Vero Beach High School and worked as a massage therapist and an Activities Director at Florida Baptist Retirement Center. She always chose employment serving others.

Ruthann loved to thrift and took great pleasure using the items she found to decorate or make others happy. Her home was the center of many family gatherings where her “treasures” were on display. Her smile, kindness, joy and warmth welcomed anyone entering her home.
She loved visiting her family homestead in Madison, Florida and the country surrounding where she had many childhood memories of her parents, grandparents and siblings.
Ruthann joins her parents, Jack and Maude, and her sister, Betty, in Heaven. She is survived by her husband, Lee, her children Jack and Haley, her sister, Pat Rosalia and brothers Tom Colvin (Patti), Bobby Colvin (Janice) and Larry Colvin (Teresa) and several nieces and nephews.
