Beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away unexpectedly on January 12, 2024 in Sebastian Florida. He was born on August 14, 1932 in Pomigliano d’Arco Italy where he met and married Tina, the love of his life. Prior to immigrating to the United States, Vincent worked as an aircraft mechanic. They arrived in the United States in 1960 determined to live the American dream. Vincent was employed as an Auto Body mechanic/manager for several automotive businesses retiring from the Madison Auto Body Shop after an impressive career spanning more than 30 years. The family settled in Madison and Florham Park, New Jersey. Vincent proudly served with the Madison Auxiliary Police Department for 46 years; being promoted to Sargent for his commitment and service to the community. He also served as a public school crossing guard for Madison, Florham Park and Hackettstown, New Jersey.
He had a passion for homemade wine and also provided his knowledge and skills helping others learn the craft at the Bacchus wine school in Livingston, NJ. Vincent concluded his career at Kohl’s in Hackettstown, NJ where he had the distinction of being the longest tenured employee at that location after providing more then 15 years of service. Finally retiring at the age of 88.
He will always be remembered for his love of dancing, singing Italian songs, his humor and most importantly for his infectious smile. A smile that touched everyone he met.
Vincent is survived by his wife, Tina; his children, Lina Bauerlein (Mark), Lou Ciccarelli (Teri), Mario Ciccarelli (Lisa) and Sandra Gordon (Al); seven grandchildren Mario Ciccarelli, Mary Ciccarelli, Sarah Ciccarelli, Bethany Ciccarelli, Noelle Ciccarelli, Kerry Walsh and Kayleigh Walsh.
