Patricia Ann (Harty) Jolicoeur

September 20, 1942 ~ August 30, 2023

Patricia Ann (Harty) Jolicoeur passed peacefully at her home in Vero Beach FL on August 30. Pat was born the third of five children on September 20th, 1942 to Evelyeen and Joseph Harty (deceased) in Chicopee Falls, MA. She earned her BA in English from The Elms College and taught in Holyoke MA until 1971. By 1976 Pat was working with her husband William (Bill) Jolicoeur at Judd Paper Company in Holyoke and raising their two children. Pat was the Treasurer and Co-Owner of Judd Paper Company for nearly 2 decades.

Pat and Bill’s lifelong partnership (married November 5th, 1966) and hard work, along with their shared commitment to education led to the creation of endowed scholarships at The Elms College, Western New England University, American International College and Greenfield Community college.

Pat is survived by her husband Bill, daughters Ann and Beth, grandchildren Evelyn and Owen and sister Donna Harty Grimaldi.

Family and friends remember Pat as, “such a sweet soul,” “a special person who treated me like gold,” and “the coolest, smartest, sweetest, funniest and most beautiful woman. “

“Pat was a thoughtful and generous person and paid attention to the little things that make life meaningful. It’s a rare and beautiful quality. “

Auntie Patty, your positive influence has touched not only my life but also the lives of many others. I hold the dearest memories of you and your unwavering love and dedication to your sister, my grandmother Joan. The strong sisterly bond you shared over years and miles apart left an enduring mark on my heart. Thank you for being a source of goodness in our lives, for me and my family. Your love, support and generosity means so much to so many people and is cherished. To Bill, Ann, and Beth, we extend our warmest wishes, and you remain in our hearts.

Pat was always kindhearted and generous to everyone who had the privilege to know her. Patty always graciously shared her home on holidays and the occasions were always enjoyable because of the good food and humor we shared.
Patty, in this troubled world, was one of the truly loving and charitable person which makes her passing even more acutely felt. Rest in pease knowing how much we all loved and will miss you!
My profound condolences to Bill, Ann and Beth.

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
