Joyce “Joycee” Findlen

July 11, 1944 ~ July 10, 2023

Joyce “Joycee” Findlen, age 78, recently of Sebastian, Florida, a former long-time resident of Mansfield, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2023.  She was the beloved wife of the late Peter Bradley Findlen.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, on July 11, 1944, she was the loving daughter of the late Lloyd Manning Keith and Louise Ellen Kraus.

Joyce grew up in Westwood and was a graduate of Westwood High School in Westwood, MA.  Joyce also received her associate degree in accounting.  Prior to retiring, she had worked for many years as a home health aide.

Joycee was vibrant woman with a free spirit; she was spontaneous and lived life to the fullest!  She enjoyed spending time at the beach, reading romance novels (more than one at a time!), and watching her favorite TV shows on the Hallmark channel.  In addition, Joyce loved spending time at the casino, frequenting yard sales, and spending quality time with family and friends.  She was also an avid New England Patriot’s fan.  One of her most significant accomplishments was opening her heart and home to fostering 64 children.

She is survived by her devoted children: Gene Albee, June Winters, George Klobucher Jr., Dottie Dallaire and her husband Andy Dallaire, Janice Nevius and her husband Scott Nevius, Greg Klobucher and his wife Jessica Klobucher, and Mellissa Klobucher.  She was the dear sister of Don Keith, Cheryl Kelly, and Sarah Simes Witts.

She was predeceased by her daughter Lisa Salgadinho, and her siblings Carla Ringer, Paul Keith, and Ellen Keith.

Her celebration of life at the Foxboro Fishing Game, Foxboro MA, will be private.

Visiting hours are omitted and those wishing may remember Joyce with a donation in her memory made to VNA & Hospice House, 901 37th St., Vero Beach, FL. 32960.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Millennium Cremation Service.  Condolences may be shared online at www.millenniumcremationservice.com.

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
