Raymond “Ray” H. Ketcham, 79, of Vero Beach passed away on July 1, 2023.
Ray was born July 23, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York to Raymond Harold Ketcham and Elizabeth McCarthy. He served in the United States Army. Prior to his retirement he delivered Rheingold Beer, and sold land and time share. He has been a resident of Vero Beach for the past 10 years, coming from Long Island.
He was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Vero Beach Lodge 1774. He was awarded the Elk’s Distinguished Citizenship Award in 2020 and was named Volunteer of the Year in 2021. Ray loved his horses Crush, Hank and Cisco.
Ray is survived by his wife of 51 years, Theresa “Terry” Ketcham who he wed on November 27, 1971; children, Ernie Ketcham, Karen Ketcham Tercero (Ramsey), Michael Ketcham (Jodie) and Raymond Ketham; grandchildren, Kristine, Billy, Samantha, Nicholas, Lexi, Zachary, Matthew and Riley; great-grandchildren, Katie, Clarence, Zoe, Brennen, Kendall, Brayden, Braxton, Marcus and Bryce; and brother, Jeremiah Ketcham.
In lieu of flowers those that would like to send a memorial contribution in Ray’s memory may do so to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, the Make-A-Wish Foundation or on behalf of cancer research.

Terry, my heart goes out to you and the family. Ray will always be remembered as a gentle soul that was generous and a friend to all. He was an inspiration to so many and I’m sorry that he’s been called to Heaven at such a young age. He was a special man. Rest in peace Ray. Terry, May God always bless. Teana
